You are not my mother, you are not my father

While the rest of you pretend to be patriots, I think i'm gonna go to my friends house and watch the world cup semi-final game. yeah, the problem that I have with the world cup is that the teams are representative of Nations instead of peoples. In some countries it's pretty much the same thing, but in countries such as the USA, it couldn't be further than the truth. The fact is the United States is a mish-mash of Indigenous folks dominated by a plethora of migrants from all over the world. Sadly the dominant genes comes from our nordic/anglo/white friends from the EAST that insist that THEY are the real Americans. Even our current white-washed school system tells you otherwise, but I guess that is all forgotten after 6th grade.

It's one thing to be empowered by your culture or your heritage, it's another to rub it in someones face. As if you were the perfect representative of the human species. Yeah, give me a break. You are who you are, you are your actions. You are not your grandfather, you are not your mother. You are your stupid pitiful little self.

Look in the mirror.
