Part 5 - The Bunny Hoppers (cont.)

"We arrived in Hollywood. It wasn't hard finding parking on a Thursday Night. We walked up to Boardners. Boardners has two sections. A Club in the back and a bar in the front. The Club had an $8.00 cover, so that didn't fly with these guys. So they headed into the bar. When heading to the bar, Dak recognized someone and they chatted for a bit about Santas and a bit about the Bunny Hop. They were then talking about the venue called Blue. 'Golfer' was mentioned. or was supposed to be mentioned. After drinking in the bar we went to Blue. But it was a private party! Joe & Dak, dressed as bunnies, went up to the door man and said,'Golfer Sent Us'. The doorman smiled. 'Golfer, huh'. He talked to another bouncer at the door, and opened up the ropes and let us in. 'Golfer' got us into a private party. The place was packed. In the middle was a big inflatable Sumo Wrestling ring. The bunnies danced around for a bit, promoting the event and worked the scene. Dak and Joe took a shot at the wrestling. They bounced around for a bit. Knocking each other over and there were many moments neither of them would get up. I was wondering if they were still alive because they weren't moving. They got up one more time, and Dak finished Joe off, smothering him. Joe lost an ear in that fight. The sumo suits looked heavy. I don't know how they did it.

"I think the next place was the best. It was the Pig & Whistle. The bouncer would not let the bunnies in, but Dak pleaded with him. There was a crowd on the patio smoking and drinking calling out for the bunnies. Dak got the crowd riled up and they started to chant, 'Let them in! Let them in!' The bouncers gave up and allowed them in. 'Two Drink Minimum, Rabbits. Two Drinks.' I don't think they ever bought those two drinks. This place was spinning hip hop. The dj would come out rapping and dancing with everyone. When the patrons saw the bunnies walk in, they all went nuts. It was asian night or something, because everyone was asian. This was probably the only moment I really wish I was in a bunny-suit. I was watching my buddies, dressed in bunny suits, freaking and dry humping a bunch of hot asian honeys to hip-hop. Their boys were probably extremely jealous too. It was one of strangest things I've seen. I wish I had the ears atleast. But like I said, I left them in the car.

"They wound down by visiting one more bar for a couple more drinks. Dak was done. He started drinking long before the rest. I don't think he finished his last beer. When it was time to go, the three of them were still pretty wired. P'bunny was toasted. He started running down the street. It's a funny scene because the man is only 5 something. He's pretty short. There he was, running down the street. Humping street poles. tripping over himself. Dak & Joe started yelling at him through their megaphones. I think P'bunny taunted them somehow, and the two started running down the street after him. When P'bunny wiped out, the two started jumping him. Kicking him while he was down. They were calling him his bitch. It was the middle of Hollywood, the middle of the night. In the middle of the week. I was just wondering what all the locals thought."
