flight 22, terminal 26

Oh, hi. Payed $5 or 500 YEN to access the internet. I couldn't stand the lack of internet access this last couple weeks. Finally I'm on my own laptop too. Sigh.

Anywho, i'm here in Japan on a 7 hour layover. I'll be proceeding to Honolulu for a couple days to visit relatives on my Mom's side.

WHAT THE HECK AM I TALKING ABOUT?

I've been visiting the 'motherland' for the past month. I left Feb 3rd. I'm not exactly sure when I'll be back in LA, but I'm on the way home now.

I stayed with my Aunt on my Dad's side. I visited a TON of family on his side too. I also spent some quality time WITH my dad.

Despite my hesitation and fears, my trip to the Filipinas turned out to be really good. I learned a lot about my family and maybe a little about myself. The Philippines is a wonderful place, it can & should get even better in the next decade. No time soon, but soon enough. I met some wonderful family members. I got to know really well some of the ones I knew, especially my Dad.

If you have a motherland, and you have relatives there, I highly recommend that you go and visit.

I definitly see myself going back. I don't know when, because there are a lot of "new" places that i'd be more interested in first. But I there would a routine place for me to visit, it would be the Filipinas.

Ok, maybe i'll have interesting things to say about Hawaii. i don't know. It's not for another 6+ hours until I board the plane for it. Plus the flight is a good 6 hours from Japan.

sige, bye.
