DAY EIGHT - BLACK TOES

SEP 6: I arrived home about 3AM. I took a long shower, checked some email and some messages. Then I went to bed. When I got up, about 1PM. My mom was up and doing stuff in the kitchen. I came out to say Hi! She looked at me, then the black nail polish on my toes and fingers. She said, "What IS that, that looks Horrible!" I came back with, "I know, I need more practice" because I do. But inside I was hurt. Upset, whatever. It's the same emotion. It made me miss Black Rock City. I don't like being judged or criticized for who I am. Never did. Black Rock City, never will.

Well, I have 360 days until BURNING MAN

If home is where your heart is. Then Black Rock City is my new home.
