back to earth...

the canadians are gone. It's november now. and i'm not feeling my best...

Should I restart my sobriety month? I've been drinking pretty much straight for the last 2... maybe 3 weeks? it's been nuts. 3 weeks ago was spent busy as hell catching up with friends. D&D, hockey, etc. The next week was pretty much the same but with a Family trip to San Francisco for the weekend. We spent 2 nights & 2 days there. It was a quick trip and it was spent in Sausalito the whole time. This PAST week was insane. It was fun. It was grand. Pretty much the moment I got back from San Fran, my brother and I were on the road to LAX to pick up Jnny and Cheryl. Our friends from Canada. We pretty much went out every day and every night. A few parties, and few trips to the ocean, many trips to various parts of hollywood, and a small taste of the indie-rock scene. I tried to show them LA from my eyes. I think i did a decent job. I await a review.

I dropped them off at the airport at 10AM this morning. Took a nap, then visited a relative that I never knew I had with my mom and dad. Then waited for a couple friends, then made it to The Joint to see my friend Sean's band, Committee of Vultures play. I went dressed as Gary Johnston as a Terrorist Infiltrator. [you have to see Team America...] The bad hair implants kept falling off. So did the towel on my head. It's cool. Everyone who's seen the film knew who I was. the rest just thought I looked rediculous. So I guess I succeeded on both levels. Sorry, no pictures.

So hi. call me. I'm taking it easy this week. Well, aside from D&D and Hockey, I should be home.
