the disillusioned warrior, intro

i don't know if anybody has been reading the tales. let me explain them a little bit. there are going to be 8 parts. I wrote them in reverse while I was listening to Sigur Ros's - ( ). I havent written the parts 7 & 8 yet. I originally intented the stories to by my contribution or interpretation of sigur ros's ( ). If you check out sigur-ros.com you'll see that people have contributed art and lyrics to the album. the record was left intentionally title & track listing free for the fans to interpret themselves. i realised that you can read all the stories in a few minutes. ideally, you'd read each part in order to each individual song. but as a shortcut, you can listen to just track 8 (download for free) and read it straight through.

the stories are a fantasy symbolized telling of the disillusionedment of a warrior. it's about how he dedicated his heart to something, only for it to betray or hurt him in the end. this is also a work in progress and the themes here are obviously heavy on losses. Maybe in the future i'll dabble with other themes.

09.11.02 - five pm

the disillusioned warrior, part 1

...Once upon a time, there was this quiet boy. Unknown to him, he would grow up to become a magnificent warrior.

One day, this boy made friends with a beautiful little girl. This girl would teach him games and give him attention that he never had from a girl. Little had he known that he had fallen in love. But the girl moved away and the boy didn't understand what he was feeling. Several years later, the boy would meet the girl again while studying but before he became a warrior. But the boy, occupied with another girl and clouded by another, paid her no heed. Deep down, the boy had feelings for her, but was entangled in another mess. The girl disappeared leaving behind a note confessing her love and sadness of not being noticed. This made the boy very sad, and full of regret.
