If not now, what?

So someone does read this. It can also mean that several others read this too. Honestly take anything I write here with a grain of salt... I don't even know what that phrase means. [I do now.] I do know that what I write here are thoughts, as I think them. A lot of times these thoughts change, sometimes as soon as I hit [RETURN]. I don't go back and delete. Or edit.

Tomorrow is the last day of my 28 days of sobriety. Wow, has it really almost been a month? It was tough, at first. Especially the first couple weekends. There were tons of rides, and a bunch of parties. I went to a lot of bars and drank a lot of soda. But I did really well. Last night, for the Burrito Project, a bunch of people brought a shit load of beer (there are still a ton of beer at Ridge Way...) but one person brought me a Hansen's Juice Soda thing. It made my day. I digress, so tomorrow at Midnight, I'll be at the Tren Way "Secret Bar" to catch up for lost time. You're all welcome to come. There might be fights to determine my first drink. But I might insist on a classic, and buy myself a Budweiser. We'll see.

I'm sure people can care less about the sobriety. What you want to hear is an update on the girl in my life. I was wrong about a lot of things. And I'm scared of these errors. Within the short week, since my last update, things have changed but only a little. I still enjoy her company. I still have ridiculous fun with her. I still want to be with her all the time. She was not what I expected, not at all. She's been nothing but full of surprises. So what has changed? I want even more. She keeps amazing me. So what does this mean? I've decided to allow myself to fall in love. It's kind of too late, because I am falling. And it feels like flying.

I love surprises.
